Cinepro Studios introduced aerial service to their productions in 2014 bringing their quality of production to new heights. With over 70 hours of logged flight time our pilots can accomplish the shots your production needs, safely and effectively.
The most common questions we get when talking to perspective clients is this, “Is it legal?” and “Are you insured.” The answer is yes to both but the legalities around where you would like us to fly depends!
Our FAA licensed part 107 drone operators are able to help you with your pre-production needs as we can check sectional charts and the surrounding areas of the location you need captured. Knowledge of the airspace above your location is vital to executing your vision and with enough planning time we can submit a waiver or authorization request to fly in specified airspace if needed.
Insurance is a production by production basis but we have an overall liability policy that covers $1,000,000.00 and can obtain higher amounts if needed quickly. Adding you or your company as “additional insured” is not a problem either. Most productions require $1,000,000 as a minimum but often times request higher coverage so because each production is so different for example, flying over water, flying in remote mountains and canyons, flying over car dealerships or near buildings, inside of buildings ect, we would need to take all of your production’s information to generate a risk assessment and an accurate quote for you.
sUAS systems are capable of flying many different cameras so depending on your production needs we would also need to figure out what would be best for you at the time of inquiry. In today’s ever changing world of technology and advancements though, we have found the market has caught up to sensor quality and raw options allowing us to integrate with RED footage or a comparable platform without risking putting a RED in a sky. We understand though that each Director or DP will have a specific need and we are happy to discuss those with you to find out what the best and most viable option is for your production.
We never show up without a backup to add even more insurance to the production so in the event an emergency happened and the equipement was damaged, we would be able to keep flying. We haven’t had to use a backup yet, but it’s always there for peace of mind.

Land for sale near Breckenridge, CO
Private land owner and local spine surgeon, Dr. Janssen hired our team to produce an engaging video to help his real estate team sell the land he owns near Breckenridge, Colorado. When filming land for sale without structures, we felt it was important to highlight the future possibilities and integrate some engaging kinetic typography to help convey the information easily to the viewer.
Joy Global :: 2650CX Hybrid Shovel
Joy Global recently purchased by Komatsu hired us to capture aerials of their new 2650cx Hybrid Shovel operating in a mine located south of Tuscon, AZ. Working in mines requires extra attention to detail as well as MSHA certification which our operators have. If you’re looking for an msha licensed drone operator, Cinepro Studios has operators ready to work with you in your construction zone, mine, or any other environment needing msha certification before entering the property.
A few of our aerial shots can be seen throughout our latest demo reel. Clients that we’ve served throughout this reel are Rocky Mountain Adventure Junkies, IFLY Indoor Skydiving, Liquid Decent Rafting, Lee Likes Bikes, Oxotic Supercar Driving Experience, The Everywhere Card, Whitney & Billy’s St. Louis Wedding, and Sara Lynn Photographic.
The Everywhere Card
This production opens with an aerial shot near Como, Colorado as well as hosts some supporting aerial shots later on in the edit. Aerial shots can not only help establish a location but they can have a large impact on the storyline while keeping the clients cost minimal in comparison to a full scale helicopter or plane used to produce the same shot.
